Organisers of Bingley Music Live are looking for volunteers to support the festival held in Myrtle Park on 1, 2 and 3 September.

Volunteers at the Bradford Council-run event will receive free entry for the whole festival weekend, a free programme plus food and drink while on shift.

There are a number of volunteering roles, from programme selling to being involved in the meet and greet of visitors. The festival organisers will try to give as much variety as they can across the roles to make the volunteering experience more enjoyable.

Diana Greenwood of Bradford Council is coordinating the volunteering team. She said, “Our festival volunteers play a big part in creating a great atmosphere and help festival goers have a fantastic time. Volunteering at Bingley Music Live is a fun and rewarding experience, a great way to meet new people and to see what it takes to make a music festival happen. Every year our volunteers have an amazing time and many come back to volunteer the following year.

“So if you want to gain experience and have an interest in music, festivals and event management or just want the opportunity to work with a team of fun, like-minded people then we want to hear from you.”

Volunteers must be over 16 and available for the full three days. Shifts are around six hours with regular breaks so volunteers have the chance to enjoy the festival. With no early starts and no late shifts, volunteering gives you the opportunity to get involved and experience the festival for free!
